Well i dont understand the significance of what Yuri said in the 2nd chapter then because she said "an irregular has stepped into the base tower! He has opened the gate himself". and others have made comments about irregulars having to open the door themselves? So are there different classes of regular?
There are different classes of regulars, but not through the distinction : Headon chose them from the Outer tower to climb through the Inner tower.
All people that derogate to this rule should be concidered irregulars ( so we can discuss Beta...Ok maybe somewhere else).
As for the confusion: I already explained : We've had many people in the tower who's said "they opened the doors themselves", most trustworthy of them "God" of Guardians. But even him is limited in his knowledge, he has been created inside the train (from the workshop ?) to train irregulars.
Meanwhile we've got a Guide (Alumik Edrok), who are "positions" that have a mysterious relationship with and knowledge of the Tower, who said to another guide (Evan Edrok) : "The tower doesn't open it's gates to just anybody."
So there's already a problem determining who is the decider in the matter of opening the doorss of the Tower.
After that you'd have to concider what opened the doors, or what made the tower decide to open its doors ?
And only if you have weighted ALL the possibilities, can you say : "I Think/believe"...
But so far, I don't see why people are so craving to say "Rachel isn't", when all the arguments against can be easily debunked. The easiest explanation : They both opened the doors themselves: Case and point : Rachel arrived Way before and alone compared to Baam. And Rachel is an Irregular, confirmed by SIU.
