Ssong (쏭, Ssong) is an Army Commander for Hell Joe. His nickname is "The Traitor".

History

Ssong used to be an underling of Grand De Sah. When Hell Joe overthrew the ruler of South City, Grand De Sah, Ssong joined him in the rebellion. After this rebellion was successful, Hell Joe appointed Ssong one of the Army Commanders. His title is: "The Traitor". He declared that he wants to reclaim his soul and continue climbing the Tower with Joe in order to seize the Tower's wealth and power.[1]

Appearance and Personality

He wears a white mask, along with a blackish robe. He appears to wear a brown scarf as well.

In the presence of authority, Ssong acts very subservient. However, in private, he is actually much more vocal about his true opinions. He has also been shown to have a large ambition.[1]

Tower of God: Part 2 - The Hell Train

The Floor of Death

Ssong discussed with Hell Joe what to do when Karaka arrived and they were empty handed, reminding him of the 'promise' they'd agreed on. With Hell Joe angrily replying to tell Karaka he could no longer co-operate due to the poor quality of gifts he had received before telling Ssong to get lost. Irritated by Hell Joe's reckless personality, Charlotte then appeared behind him and lightly provoked him. Irked, Ssong declared his great ambitions to seize the treasures of the Tower with Hell Joe. At that, a Leech appeared informing them of Karaka's arrival.

Karaka then burst in and argued with Hell Joe about their ends of the deal. With Hell Joe going on a ranting tangent, Karaka then gives a new offer: bring the intruders that had disappeared. Hell Joe initially refused until Karaka told him that one of them was capable of getting them out of there.

With Karaka's new offer being set, Hell Joe asked his Army Commanders on whether he should believe Karaka's words. The Commanders had differing opinions on whether to trust Karaka or not, with Ssong saying they should think about it as it was a chance they could not miss. Hell Joe then announced to everyone on the Floor of Death the false revelation that the final piece of the Thorn was in his castle and if they wanted it, they should challenge him and his Commanders.

Powers and Abilities

His strength and abilities are currently unknown, but it's reasonable to believe he's fairly powerful as he was appointed to be one of the "Army Commanders" under Hell Joe.

Notes and Trivia

  • He is most likely named after the former Arsenal footballer Alex Song.
