Prince (프린스, Peurinseu; "Prince") is a Regular and the son of the president of the company Lurker Cash. He is introduced in Ch. 85 where he is shown exiting the 4th elevator after passing the Survival Round Test along with Yeon, Kim Lurker, Rapdevil and another three unnamed regulars from the Da-an Tribe.

Despite he is a Light Bearer, he can also take the role of Fisherman with his equipment.

BackgroundEdit

PersonalityEdit

He follows the classic example of the "rich jerk" character, behaving similarly to Koon but in a far less modest fashion. He prefers to use minions to do his work for him, but it is shown from his score on the World's Strongest Regular test that he himself posseses a way to draw apon a huge amount of Shinsoo. Since he scored the highest over all of his minions, he believes that he is stronger then all of them. He possesses a certain amount of team loyalty, as shown by how angry he was when he thought Rapdevil was killed and when it looked like Horyang was abandoning Viole to Urek Mazino.

Since joining Ja Wangnan's team, he seems to have become more modest, developing a great respect for "Devil-nim," but still overestimates himself.

Tower of God: Part 2 - The Return of the Prince Edit

The Strongest RegularEdit

Prince is first seen entering the second part of the test in 20F with his arm around Yeon Yihwa, who looked very annoyed by it. His father's employee, Kim Lurker, told Wangnan that Prince was a strong Regular who also managed to sneak in with hired help into the test in order to increase his chances of passing. He mocked the Regulars doing poorly on the World's Strongest Regular Contest and bet Yihwa to the first place winner in order to make things more interesting. Disgusted by this, Horyang repremanded him and attempted to teach him a lesson by scoring first place in the test but was beaten by the hired help, Rapdevil. He was surpised by Yihwa's score, since it looked like she stumbled into the machine.

When he scored first place, he told Yihwa to be a good girl and stay by his side. Yihwa demands a retry in anger, but was refused. Akraptor makes fun of them both to inform them that the strongest Regular in this floor was Viole. Prince was shocked by Viole's score and looked on disbelievingly. When it was announced that the other seven participants would be chosen by Viole, he argued with the test examiner Love and was told to shut up. He grumbles angrily about this. When Wangnan begged Viole to pick him, Prince mocks him and sneers at his lack of pride, stating how it would be better to just retake it than being forced to beg. Kim Lurker looks at him silently for this, not informing him that Wangnan would die otherwise.

When Viole announced that he would not pick any teammates and that he lived for the death of Zahard, Prince frowns and looks seriously at him. Later on it is shown that he was in the resting area for Regulars who wished to participate in the game Love said he would think of for Viole. When he was about to bathe, he sneered at Wangnan and decided to go to the other bathing area. Wangnan smirks at him and warns him not to, saying: "Look at who's over there."

Prince is surprised to find Viole in the other bath pool, but decides to go there anyway. Kim Lurker tries to convince him not to but Prince calls him a coward. Prince and his hired help enter the same bath pool as Viole. He starts off by asking Viole what his name is, to which Viole replies. He goes on to say that Viole isn't anything special just because he scored first in the previous test. When Viole ignores him, he becomes enraged and shouts how Yeon belongs to him and he would get her back. Viole continues to ignore him in order to ask Rapdevil something. Prince is angered by the dimissal. He follows Viole to his room, where he finds out that Yeon and him were sharing a room. After being insulted by Yeon, he yells that he would get back at them both.

The Untrustworthy RoomEdit

During the Untrustworthy Room Test, he immediately targets Baam. He manages to take the remote from Baam, but is easily frozen. He sets off after Baam again in a rage, but is stopped by Lurker who informs him of Rapdevil's death. Prince blames Baam and swears vengeance. In his anger he is easily tricked by two regulars and cuases Yeon to be possessed. He flees back to his room, where he finds out that Rapdevil is alive and that he was betrayed by Lurker. Rapdevil easily disables him, stating that real fights are not like punching a machine.

He gets beaten up by Rapdevil. Lurker shows up with a Da'an and the possessed Yeon to gloat. When Horyang and Viole take out the aggressors outside the door, Prince takes the chance to open the door for them. Horyang stays to fight Rapdevil.

Prince is later seen to have developed a boy-crush on Horyang after the latter saved him while displaying bad-ass strength. From a pocket broadcasting the events in Viole's room, Prince finds out that his father had spent all his money in order to rig the test, making it easier for Prince to pass. This information, combined with the knowledge of the lives his father ruined in is name, leaves him speechless. He is later shown celebrating with the others for passing the test.

FUGEdit

Touched by his father's sacrifices and contributions, he resolves to work harder. He stays with the people he passed the exam with in 20F and forms a team with them. In 21st floor he was exercising with MiSeng for 1 month. He was also scouting the other teams along with Horyang before the test on the 21st floor. Then he decides to take the test on the 21st floor with rest of the team. During the test on the 21st floor it was found out that the other teams ran away when they heard that Viole/Baam in on the team. Afterwards the proctor decided to have a unique exam where they have to find Jigena's flower. The flower grows only inside Jigena.

Flower of ZygaenaEdit

The team is split into two. Prince is grouped with Horyang, Yihwa, and Viole. Due to some complications and Zygaena turning over, their group is split even further with Prince and Horyang going on ahead. Inside they face red parasites living inside zygaena. Prince slows them down with his three lighthouses while Horyang fought them. They then need to take cover as a mysterious red eyed man lands from above. Prince is irritated by the man's attitude but Horyang yells at him to run, sensing the man's great power. Viole appears and challanges the man, despite Horyang's warnings. They leave Viole to fight him and Prince is disatisfied with the

situation since it feels like they left Viole to fend for himself. Horyang reveals that his intention was to contact the others for backup, not run away. Despite regrouping they are unable to stop the man from severely wounding Viole, who had been protecting Miseng. The man is impressed by Viole's courage and leaves them the extra flower that grew. As he walks away, Horyang notices the tattoo on his back and the team are shocked to find out that the arrogant man had been Urek Mazino.

Epilogue, PathEdit

After the test, Prince, Wangnan, Akraptor, and Horyang go out to the market to buy supplies. Akraptor pokes fun at Prince who had his lighthouses destroyed by Urek Mazino and now needed to borrow money from Viole to buy replacements. Wangnan says that it would be better not to borrow money from him since they had to leave Viole. Prince remarks that if someone had to leave the team, it should be Wangnan since he was the least useful. They argue about who wants to climb the tower more with Viole. Eventually the rest of them show to Wangnan that they don't want Viole to leave and are willing to help reunite Viole with his friends.

ConnectionEdit

On the 28th floor, he helps Goseng bind the enemies movements, allowing Yihwa to successfully disable them.

Devil of the Right ArmEdit

While Horyang talks about his past, he and Miseng are sleeping, having finished playing their game console for the day. Afterwards, he is seen with the rest of the group, debating about how they will meet Cassano. He

then stays awake waiting for 'devil-nim', and seeing that Horyang isn't returning, resolves to go with Akraptor, Wangnan, and Yihwa to help Horyang, not remembering that they had no vehicle available. They manage to borrow a vehicle from the Yeon family but by the time they get there, they found a pile of rubble from what used to be the Hand of Arlen. In there they discover Koon Aguero Agnis.

BetEdit

Team Tangyoosook nurse Koon back to health, since he is the only clue as to what happened. After the situation is explained, they all travel to Koon's private bunker to check on his team. Koon is shocked to find his teammates gone or dead, with the word FUG written in blood on the wall. Prince, with the use of his lighthouse, discovers that Dan is alive and they rush him to the hospital. Afterwards they decide to team up in order to get back Viole and Horyang. Prince is annoyed at how easily Koon bosses them around but still follows his training regime. They manage to pass the 29F Test thanks to Koon's directions.

Workshop BattleEdit

Team Tangyoosook is excited to go to the 30th floor. Koon, Dan, and Wangnan stay at the hotel while the rest of the team go site seeing. Miseng and Prince were afriad of heights so that stayed behind when Goseng, Akraptor, and Yihwa went up the light house.

One Shot, One OpportunityEdit

Once the game began, their status was unknown. When Koon's group managed to reunite with Goseng's group, Goseng suggested looking for Prince and Miseng. Koon rejected this idea, since it would put all of the team in danger. Koon told her to trust her teammates and let them handle any trouble by themselves. It is later shown that Prince and Miseng are being held captive by Verdi from Ship Leesoo's team, who has taken a liking to them.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Shinsoo Enhancement: As shown by his score in the Strongest Regular Test, he can use Shinsoo to increase his strength quite well.

Triple Flow: Prince can create an immobilizing field from three lighthouses at once. He seems very proud of this skill, although apparently it's only average for a light bearer.

Weapons: Prince carries a purple Needle and a pair of floating claw-like blades.

RelationshipsEdit

Jyu Viole Grace: At first their relationship was largely antagonistic, since Prince was outraged that he lost the Shinsoo Strengthening Competition. Throughout the Untrustworthy Room Test, he thinks primarily of getting revenge on Viole. However, as they get to know each other, he becomes more friendy towards Viole, though they still don't have much interaction in everyday life.

Kang Horyang: At first, Prince thought Horyang was just an ordinary regular, and enjoyed putting him down, in the Shinsoo Strengthening Competition. But once he saw Horyang easily best Rapdevil, the alleged "Devil of the Right Arm", then he started idolizing Horyang, adressing him as Devil-nim. The two of them fight together in an effective combination, Prince slowing down enemies or aiding Horyang, and Horyang defeating them. Horyang himself commented that it was difficult fighting without a lighthouse aiding him.

Ja Wangnan : Their relationship was and still is antagonistic. However, it started as malicious arrogance, and his now been reduced to quarrels on things such as their team name.

Yeo Miseng: At first he was indifferent to her, not really acknowledging her existence. However, since the 21st floor, they have developed a relationship akin to brother and sister. They both have the same mental maturity, and they are both seen playing game consoles.

Koon Agero Agnis: Prince dislikes Koon's bossy nature and how Koon seemed to easily take control of the team when he entered it. However, he acknowledges that Koon knows what is best for the team and follows his directions.

TriviaEdit

  • Prince's score for the World's Strongest Shinsoo Test may have been rigged.
  • He seems to admire strength (though not in Viole's case, possibly because of jealousy).
