Powers and Abilities

Despite being a new and young Slayer of FUG, Karaka has much potential and is already quite skilled. He is a really strong character and very powerful since Karaka was also trained in FUG by Ha Jinsung, one of the Top 100 High Rankers. Jinsung also noted that Karaka have grown up to be quite scary and already have enough political power to mess with FUG Elders.

Originally, Karaka is a Scout-Fisherman hybrid, it means that his fighting skills style are a mixed of Scout and Fisherman. Because Karaka has combat abilities like Fisherman, this made Karaka an perfect Scout since he doesn't need support from a Fisherman on the frontline. Most of the times, people with Scout Position are weak and need to be protected by a Fisherman. As a Scout, Karaka is able to read people's minds by touching their head, even the mind of a dead body.

Karaka was also feared by Madoraco, a powerful High Ranker of FUG, who would not dare challenge him for the Soul-Stirring Ladle and opted to avoid fighting him when cornered over his allegiance with Khel Hellam. During the Battle of The Nest, Karaka's assault was quickly deemed as dangerous, being regarded as a powerful High Ranker, taking down several ships and soldiers and engaging Ha Cheonhee and managing to successfully force her out of the battle. Together, he and Baam were able to work together to injure Kallavan though Karaka himself was unable to injure Kallavan. Karaka alongside Dowon later on easily defeated a Division Commander of the new 4th Army Corp, despite the new 4th Army Corp being said to be stronger than the old one. During the Battle of The Last Station, Karaka defeated many Zahard's Army Rankers with ease.

Physical

Karaka's most notable physical abilities are his durability and defense, mainly because the regeneration power of the Karaka's Armor Suit. Even Kallavan, the former Corps Commander of the 4th Army Corp acknowledged Karaka's strong defensive power.

Despite Karaka also having a preference for long-range combat, SIU noted that Karaka is also strong enough in melee combat. However, Karaka doesn't use Piercing Technique techniques too often because he simply chooses defensive fighting style to maximize survival and minimizes damage intake.

This defensive fighting style was displayed when Karaka fought Ha Yuri Zahard in the Name Hunt Station or Kallavan in The Nest. The young Slayer proved his capabilities to stand and fight alone independently, effectively holding on his own against two extremely powerful High Rankers from Zahard Empire in close range combat. Both Yuri and Kallavan were impressed with Karaka's defense and admitted that Karaka has strong durability.

Karaka also has great reflexes, being able to react in time to block Yuri's punch from behind.

Karaka is able to create black and gold Shinsu Baangs with impressive destructive power.

• Karaka Style Piercing Technique - White Crow (카라카류 공파술 백오): Karaka's personal style of Jinsung's Piercing Technique. Karaka first showed this technique when he did a combination attack along with Baam's Zero Piercing Technique, to wake up slayer Baylord Yama from his sleep. Karaka used this again when he attacked Kallavan at the war of The Nest. Karaka performed three blast attack of White Crow directly into Kallavan's body but it didn't do any damage to him.

World of Darkness

Karaka Style Shinsu Manipulation Technique: World of Darkness (카라카류 신수제어술 암흑 세계, Kalaka-lyu Sinsujeeo-sul Amheug Segye): Karaka's own shinsu control style. It absorbs enemy attacks and, usually, even the enemies themselves if they touch the black orbs.

• Black Goral's Horn Whip (검은 산양의 뿔 채찍 , Geom-eun San-Yang-ui Ppul Ghaejjig): Its effects remain unknown as its target was Urek Mazino.
• Black Twilight (어둠 땅거미, Eodum Ttang-geomi): A technique meant to stop and wound a foe. Karaka managed to stop Yuri while she was diving toward him, though he was surprised when he realised the Princess suffered no damage at all.
• Damage Counter - Rain of Darkness (데미지 카운터 - 어둠 비, Demiji Kaunteo - Eodum Bi): Send back all the accumulated damage from attacks previously absorbed by World of Darkness, in the form of a large shinsu blast.
• Infinite Past Lives (무한전생, Muhan Jeon Saeng): Allows Karaka to be "reborn", negating any damage he may have undergone.
• Return To The Abyss (삼천회귀, Sam Cheon Hui Gui): An escape technique. Karaka used this technique as his last effort to escape when his body suffered heavy damage against Yuri's mysterious green Shinsu Bubble. It created a black shinsu aura surrounding his body and then the aura was spread and expanded across both of his legs and hands.

Weapons

Karaka's Armor Suit

• His helmet has abilities like an Observer device. This is the reason why Karaka was able to see or notice a small object like Bong Bong from a very long and far distance.
• Karaka's armor is protected with a special Spell. It is unknown what kind of spell that he used.

• Karaka's Armour created a dimension where Karaka's Heart is located. Since his heart is hidden, this is a form of immortality as no one can enter except Karaka himself, Administrators, and 10 Great Family Heads.

The following are a list of techniques that utilize Karaka's armor inventory, Steel Tree.

• Armor Inventory - Steel Tree (아머 인벤토리 철갑나무, 鐵甲나무, Ameo Inbentoli Cheolgabnamu): Karaka pulls out his long armoured tendrils and then formed it like tree roots which surrounded his body to act as a shield to protect himself from Kranos ignition attack launched by Ha Yuri Zahard.
• Flower of Darkness - Black Lotus(어둠의끛 흑련, Eodum-uikkeuch Heuglyeon): An offensive combat technique meant to kill the enemy. Karaka's armour tentacles will form a lotus flower shape, creating a sharp front to pierce the enemy's body. Karaka stabbed and killed Zahard's army ranker Yuryu using this technique while flying in the air.
• Armor Inventory - Armor Storm (아머 인벤토리 (갑주) 철갑폭풍, Ameo Inbentoli (Gabju) Cheolgabpogpung): Karaka covered and protected himself with his long armoured tendrils and then spin it like a tornado in very high speed to break through enemy's defences or attacks.
• Lethal Move - Armor Tree Strike (살인기 철갑나무 연참, Sal-ingi Cheolgabnamu Yeoncham): from behind Karaka's body, appears lots of armoured tendrils from the shadows.

Observers

• Purple Dementor: Karaka owned an ancient Observer from the great war era. He gave this Observer to his loyal subordinate Pedro. This ancient Observer has already been destroyed by Zahard's Princesses Ha Yuri Zahard. Even Evan Edrok was surprised to know that Karaka owned the Purple Dementor.
• Observer: Karaka has also shown to own and use a regular Observer to scout out an area. As shown where he used one to detect and spy on Lo Po Bia Faitz’s Beastkin Army.
