The stage for the Crown Game
The Crown Game is a Bonus Test that takes place on the Second Floor. With special rules, losing in this test carries no disadvantages in following tests,[1] unless one is injured during battle. However, winning the game will give an automatic pass to the next Floor.[1]
The Crown Game is played in a large arena with a large throne in the middle on the Second Floor. The teams participating in the game start in the individual rooms and move to the centre room to fight over the crown.
Rules[]
The goal of the Crown Game is to both steal and maintain possession of the crown.
Stealing the crown means wearing the crown and sitting on the throne. Possessing the crown means the person must maintain physical contact with both the crown and the throne.[1] In addition, the team member who actually steals the crown and sits on the throne cannot leave the throne for the rest of the duration of the game.[2] If at any point that team member loses possession of the crown or comes off the throne before the game ends, that team loses the game.[1]
The game lasts for 5 rounds and each round lasts either 10 minutes or until someone steals the crown.[1] The team in possession of the crown at the end of the 5th round is the winner.[1]
In each round up to 5 teams can participate.[1] The right to participate is determined by pushing a buzzer. The teams that push the buzzer first, get to participate in the round. If there is a tie at button pushing, the teams that participated in more rounds in the past gets to participate again.[1] Teams that have possession of the crown automatically get to participate.[1]
At any time during one of the rounds teams can forfeit the game by going back into their rooms.[3]
Teams[]
Fifteen teams participated in the Crown Game. Some information about them is listed below. None of the team names given are official names given by SIU.
Hatsu's team[]
Hatsu's team
Hatsu's team consisted of Hatsu, Ship Leesoo and Anak. They participated in the first and second rounds of the game. They lost the game in the second round because Anak jumped off the throne.[3]
Shopin's team[]
Shopin's team
Shopin's team consisted of Shopin, Kon and Dédé Kancho. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the first round when Anak beat them up easily.[4]
First Emperor's team[]
First Emperor's team
First Emperor's team consisted of First Emperor, Leo Cloaker and Deod. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the second round where they were easily beaten by Hatsu.[2]
Laure's team[]
Laure's team
Laure's team consisted of Laure, Ho and Serena Rinnen. They participated in the second round where they forfeited because Ho and Serena were scared of Anak.[3]
Khun's team[]
Khun's team
Khun's team consisted of Rak, Khun and Baam. They participated in the third, fourth and final round. They lost the game in the final round because Baam jumped off the throne to save Rachel.[5][6]
Rozéal's team[]
Rozéal's team
Rozéal's team consisted of Rozéal, Chichi and Hyun Seung. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the third round where they were beaten by Khun's team.[7]
Levin's team[]
Levin's team
Levin's team consisted of Levin, Catan and Palgyon. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the third round where they were beaten by Khun's team.[7]
Aleksai's team[]
Aleksai's team
Aleksai's team consisted of Aleksai, Chungchung and Leon 3. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the third round where they were beaten by Khun's team.[7]
Team Red Hair[]
Team Red Hair consisted of Le-Ara, Red Hair and Ucha. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the fourth round when they were beaten by Blarouse's team.[7]
Team Hoshi[]
Team Hoshi consisted of Hoshi, Inoa Yoran and Pichuru. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the fourth round when they were beaten by Blarouse's team.[7]
Team Blarouse[]
Team Blarouse consisted of Kukaku Rakukakuka, Blarouse and Grey. They participated in the fourth round. Because they were working for Khun they gave up and forfeited after defeating Team Hoshi and Team Red Hair.[7]
Rachel's team[]
Rachel's team consisted of Androssi Zahard, Akryung and Rachel. They participated in the final round. They could have stolen the crown and won the game, but they chose not to.[6]
Hwa Ryun's team[]
Hwa Ryun's team consisted of Hwa Ryun, Yung Changsoo and Goon. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the final round when they were beaten by Khun's team.[6]
Team Dahdi[]
Team Dahdi consisted of Red Bull, Dahdi and Green Phil. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the final round after they were decimated by Hwa Ryun.[5]
Team Azadni[]
Team Azadni consisted of Baunian, Azadni and Blak Statil. They participated and subsequently lost the game in the final round after they were decimated by Hwa Ryun.[5]
Notes and Trivia[]
- It has been indirectly noted that the Crown Game had been played many times before.[8]
